It's a shame that in this modern world of obese excess that it takes an "apparent natural disaster" for the world to finally rally to the aid of those who have been suffering and dying in poverty and starvation at the hand of "elite rulers" for decades.
Why is it that we seem to feel more sympathy and desire to aid people affected by acts that appear to be of natural cause rather than for the very same people who are oppressed and kept in poverty evry single day by their own government??
