Death comes first to the blonde (Marilyn, Laura Palmer) as Osiris (JFK) enters the underworld, but resurrection is with Isis (Jackie, Rachel, the unicorn). Do you feel the joy?
Don't forget Freddy Kruger getting his arm chopped off in "Nightmare on Elm Street 4", which was the first movie written by the same guy who wrote "42".
Just as I was realizing how much watching 'The Machinist' was messing with my head, Christian Bale accidentally hits a switch and a fellow machinist LOSES AN ARM (I rewind the scene and am delighted to hear it begin with the man saying, "I need a hand"). Upon researching Bale's January birthdate, I find some sort of Aquarian mission statement...
Who gives to all a helping hand, But bows his head to no command And higher laws doth understand? Inventor, genius and superman??
Also...that fellow machinist is played by Michael Ironside who, it turns out, is MISSING his LEFT ARM in both 'Starship Troopers' and another flick called 'Guy X' and he LOSES BOTH ARMS in 'Total Recall'...and it appears that he's an Aquarius too.
There is also a wax arm (candle)on fire in this film "The Wicker Man" with lots of Brittany look alikes dancing around the woodwork (Woodward)too -

Or, rather, the Joy Division?
ReplyDeleteOscar movie magic with Dorothy
Anne Hathaway as Judy
Anne gets the Ruby Slippers at the Oscars (Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me)
And to put everything together: Anne Hathaway as Dorothy Gale on SNL. The cock is a treacherous Peter Griffin.
'Anne Hathaway is the young Judy Garland. Or rather: she's what Judy Garland presented to the public: "Let's put on a show!" The problem with Hathaway is that she's that same persona backstage: she's not a pill-popping train-wreck.'
